Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly Appoints Members to the Education and Training Committee Kim Jin-kyung, Chairperson of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly (center), is taking a commemorative photo after presenting appointment certificates to the members of the Assembly Education and Training Committee on the 12th.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly has appointed the 'Member Education and Training Committee members' for the second half of the 11th term.


The appointed members include 6 assembly members and 5 private experts. The appointed assembly members are Kim Il-jung (People Power Party, Icheon 1), Kim Hyun-seok (People Power Party, Gwacheon), Yoo Hyung-jin (People Power Party, Gwangju 4), Lee Byung-sook (Democratic Party of Korea, Suwon 12), Lim Chang-hwi (Democratic Party of Korea, Gwangju 2), and Jo Yong-ho (Democratic Party of Korea, Osan 2).


After presenting the appointment letters, Assembly Speaker Kim Jin-kyung said, "The expertise and capabilities of each of the 155 members of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly are the future of the assembly and the power to realize trustworthy legislative activities," adding, "Please create great momentum for the development of the assembly through higher quality education and training policies."


Following the appointment ceremony, the Education and Training Committee held its first meeting to elect the chairperson and subcommittee members and to discuss the education performance in the first half of the year and plans for the second half.


Jo Yong-ho (Democratic Party of Korea, Osan 2), elected as chairperson, emphasized, "The role of the Education and Training Committee, which is responsible for the overall education and training policies of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly members, is very important," and added, "With the launch of the Education and Training Committee for the second half of the 11th term, I will do my best to lead new changes and development in the education of Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly members."
