The Department of Nursing at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Youngdo) conducted the '2024 Core Nursing Skills Enhancement Program' for graduating fourth-year students from August 26 to 30.
The Core Nursing Skills Enhancement Program is designed to help students about to graduate derive core nursing skills based on critical thinking in integrated scenarios, improve proficiency through the application of prioritized core nursing skills, and strengthen clinical performance and therapeutic communication abilities suited to various situations.
Kim Yoonji, Head of the Department of Nursing at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, stated, "This Core Nursing Skills Enhancement Program was organized to help students acquire essential clinical skills required of nurses and to enable them to perform confidently in actual clinical settings. We will do our best to strengthen the practical competencies that students need in the clinical field."
Since its establishment in 2009, the Department of Nursing at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology has pursued the vision of becoming a 'top-level nursing department contributing to the promotion of future human health.' It has received five-year accreditation for four consecutive cycles and was selected as an excellent case institution in the '2019 Nursing College Clinical Practice Education Support Project' organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
