iM Securities Supports Vulnerable Families for Chuseok

iM Securities (formerly Hi Investment & Securities) announced on the 12th that it conducted social contribution activities for vulnerable households in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.

This activity was organized to participate in the DGB Happiness Dream Day hosted by the DGB Social Contribution Foundation for Chuseok.

The day before, iM Securities President Sung Mu-yong and Park Yoon-min, director of the Mokdong Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, along with other officials, attended a ceremony at the Mokdong Comprehensive Social Welfare Center where a donation of 10 million won was delivered. They also pledged support for 200 Chuseok sharing boxes consisting of rice, gim (seaweed), and other items, as well as sponsorship for Chuseok family trips.

The sharing boxes were distributed to elderly people in vulnerable groups within the local community to help them have a bountiful Chuseok, and the travel support funds will be used to assist family trips for about 30 selected vulnerable households.

President Sung stated, “This activity was organized to support vulnerable households in the community so they can spend a warm holiday. Although it is a small gesture, I hope that the outstretched hands of kindness to many places in need will help create a future where we all come together.”
