The 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games concluded on the 8th (local time) with the closing ceremony of the Paralympics. Samsung Electronics, the official partner of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), provided a unique Olympic experience to the participating athletes and fans.

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, the 'Victory Selfie' program was operated for the first time in Olympic history, allowing athletes who stood on the podium to take photos themselves. Medal-winning athletes captured their glorious moments from multiple angles using the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition. A total of 293 Victory Selfies were taken during the Olympic and Paralympic periods.

Over 17,000 athletes were provided with the AI-equipped 'Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition.' The Olympic Edition offered specialized services and apps.

More than 7,000 Galaxy smartphones, about 3,000 Galaxy Tab series devices, and around 5,000 Galaxy Book series devices?a total of approximately 15,000 Galaxy products?were utilized in the operation of the Olympics and Paralympics.

In cooperation with the IOC, Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS), and Olympic partners, over 250 Galaxy S24 Ultra devices were installed along the Seine River in Paris for the Olympic opening ceremony and at the Olympic sailing events held in Marseille to vividly broadcast the athletes' performances. More than 100 experts participated in 360 days of technical testing.

The four Samsung Olympic Experience Centers operated throughout Paris became popular Olympic tourist attractions. These centers were also visited by Olympic and Paralympic athletes. Visitors experienced Samsung Electronics' nearly 40-year Olympic heritage and Galaxy AI-based Galaxy technologies.

Team Samsung Galaxy athletes communicated with fans through the 'Conversation with Team Samsung Galaxy' sessions at the experience centers, sharing experiences related to the campaign message 'Open always wins.'

Visitors to the experience centers learned about Samsung's Olympic heritage history and experienced Galaxy AI features themed around the Olympics, such as sketch conversion and interpretation, while collecting Samsung Olympic pins. At the Olympic experience centers, athletes and fans created memories of the Paris Olympics by collecting and trading Samsung Olympic pins. A total of 350,000 pins were collected during the Olympic and Paralympic periods.
