Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) opened and began operating the '2024 Chuseok Celebration Market' on the 11th at the Guro-gu Office Plaza.
On this day, the Chuseok Celebration Market featured participation from 29 cities and counties, including 5 sister regions (Gurye-gun, Goesan-gun, Namwon-si, Yecheon-gun, Danyang-gun), and 45 farms selling over 250 items such as Korean beef, dried yellow corvina, local specialties, seasonal fruits, and ceremonial goods at affordable prices through direct transactions.
District Mayor Moon Heon-il toured the market and said, "We thank the participating farms from each region for providing local specialties at affordable prices to Guro-gu residents," adding, "We hope residents visit the market frequently to ease the burden of living costs and promote coexistence between urban and rural areas."
Additionally, the Celebration Market will operate for two days on the 11th and 12th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
