On the 11th, the Hyundai Research Institute announced that it is recruiting trainees for the K-Digital Training program to nurture talent in the domestic digital transformation (DX) sector.
Previously, as part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's 2024 K-Digital Training (KDT) Leading Company Academy project, the Hyundai Research Institute was selected along with LG Uplus, Samjong Accounting Corporation, and partner organization iGrows.
The ‘Why Not SW Camp’ course conducted with LG Uplus consists of △ basics of big data and cloud △ programming and data analysis using Python, cloud-based data processing/storage/management △ projects with current LG Uplus employees △ utilization of LG Uplus’s metaverse platform Uverse. Samjong Accounting Corporation will offer the ‘Samjong KPMG Future Academy’ course, which includes △ introduction to business AI (artificial intelligence) and IT industry innovation △ digital innovation and big tech strategy △ business data analysis using AI △ AI-based Samjong KPMG projects.
Benefits of the training course include participation in projects with current employees, employment consulting, support for obtaining IT certifications, and rental of the latest training equipment. Approximately 35 trainees will be selected through this recruitment, and experts in data engineering and data analysis will be trained through about six months of training.
Applicants must be holders of the National Tomorrow Learning Card, and the program is fully funded. Participants will receive a training incentive ranging from 310,000 KRW to a maximum of 810,000 KRW per month (when participating in the National Employment Support System). The training will be held at the iGrows Education Center located in Noryangjin, Seoul, and applications can be submitted through the LG Uplus ‘Why Not SW Camp’ and Samjong KPMG ‘Future Academy’ websites.
