'Goheung Buncheong Sagi Site' Preview Opening
Opening on the 12th... Available for Enjoyment and Viewing Only in Goheung
Gohung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gong Yeong-min) announced on the 12th that it will open the first-ever Jeollanam-do event titled "Painting 1250 - The Flower of Passion Bloomed in Goheung, Buncheong" at the Goheung Buncheong Culture Museum and Buncheong Historic Park, starting with a pre-event on the 12th.
To promote this event, the county held a preview event at the venue on the 10th and began full-scale publicity activities.

This event was organized to review the preparation status of the main programs of the "2024 National Heritage Media Art Goheung Buncheong Kiln Site," conduct demonstrations of core content, and inspect the safety of facilities.
The "2024 National Heritage Media Art Goheung Buncheong Kiln Site" event produced various contents by integrating the unique characteristics and historicity of Goheung Buncheong pottery with modern technology. It features more than 20 programs participated in by top domestic and international media artists and creators, offering visually stunning and emotionally moving experiences.
At the event, the giant media facade "Paranmanjang," utilizing approximately 100 meters of the outer wall of the Buncheong Culture Museum, "Media Goheung Tea Ceremony," where visitors can enjoy Goheung’s specialties and Buncheong pottery, and the convergence performance "Painting 1250" held at the Goheung Buncheong kiln site were unveiled for the first time.
The "2024 National Heritage Media Art Goheung Buncheong Kiln Site" will run from the 13th to October 6th, every day from 7 PM to 10 PM at the Goheung Buncheong Culture Museum and Buncheong Historic Park, starting with the pre-event on the 12th, and admission is free.
A Goheung-gun official said, "This media art event, which widely promotes the value of Buncheong pottery, a representative national heritage of Goheung, and showcases the beautiful charm of Goheung’s nights, expresses the cultural heritage of the once-glorious Goheung ceramic culture. We hope visitors come to this event, which can only be seen and experienced in Goheung, to create precious memories with family and friends."
