T'way's Fourth European Route to Barcelona Departs with 99% Load Factor...

Scheduled to operate four times a week... A300 deployment

T'way Air has started operating its fourth European route to Barcelona, Spain.

On the 11th, T'way Air announced the launch of a regular flight route between Incheon and Barcelona, Spain. This is the first time a domestic low-cost carrier (LCC) has operated the Barcelona route.

The route will initially operate three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) for round trips. Starting November 30, the frequency will increase to four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday).

The outbound flight (TW407) departs Incheon Airport at 11:25 a.m. and arrives at Barcelona El Prat Airport at 7:00 p.m. local time. The return flight (TW408) departs Barcelona at 9:00 p.m. local time and arrives back the next day at 4:25 p.m.

A 246-seat A330-200 aircraft leased from Korean Air has been deployed on this route. The load factor for the inaugural TW407 flight reached 99%.

With this, T'way Air's European routes have increased to four. Previously, T'way Air launched the Zagreb, Croatia route in May, followed by Rome and Paris routes on the 8th and 28th of last month, respectively. The Frankfurt route is scheduled to begin operations on the 3rd of next month.

A T'way Air official stated, "We will do our best to provide the highest level of service and satisfaction based on safe operations."
