Yangju City Resolves Medical Facility Needs... 'Public Medical Center Establishment' Confirmed Perspective view of Yangju City 'Public Medical Center in the Northeastern Gyeonggi Region'.

Yangju City, which had been experiencing inconvenience due to a lack of medical facilities, has succeeded in attracting a public medical center in the northeastern Gyeonggi region, laying the groundwork to emerge as a central city in northern Gyeonggi.

On the 11th, Gyeonggi Governor Kim Dong-yeon announced the "Proactive Promotion Plan for Major Development in Northern Gyeonggi," stating that "the public medical centers in northern Gyeonggi have been confirmed for Yangju City and Namyangju City." The newly selected public medical centers are confirmed to be operated as "innovative public hospitals" that integrate medical and care services.

The planned site for the "Yangju City Public Medical Center" is in the Okjeong-dong area, designated as a medical site in Okjeong New Town, allowing immediate construction and operation without lengthy administrative procedures such as compensation and negotiations.

Mayor Kang Su-hyun said, "This is an achievement accomplished together with 280,000 Yangju citizens," adding, "We will thoroughly prepare the remaining procedures and spare no administrative support to ensure the project proceeds without any setbacks."

Meanwhile, the "Northeastern Gyeonggi Public Medical Center" is expected to play an important role in providing high-quality public medical services to all residents of the northeastern Gyeonggi region, including Yangju City.
