Woori Bank to Provide 3 Trillion KRW Support to SMEs Facing Difficulties in Pre-Production Stages

Woori Bank to Provide 3 Trillion KRW Support to SMEs Facing Difficulties in Pre-Production Stages

Woori Bank announced on the 11th that it held a 'Win-Win Cooperation Meeting to Strengthen Financial Support for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)' with major client companies using the digital supply chain platform 'OneBiz Plaza' on the 10th, and plans to expand the support scale of the 'OneBiz Data Loan' launched last August to up to 3 trillion KRW.


The 'OneBiz Data Loan' is a specialized product that provides faster funding without bond transfer based on order data from OneBiz Plaza for SMEs struggling to secure liquidity in the pre-delivery production stage, with a maximum limit of 300 million KRW per company. Woori Bank plans to supply necessary funds to up to 10,000 member sales companies of OneBiz Plaza, increasing supply chain financial support to a maximum of 3 trillion KRW. Many SMEs urgently needing funds during the production stage are also expected to reduce their financial burden.


The meeting was attended by a total of eight companies, including three purchasing companies?Inzi Controls, Daebo Information & Communications, and Asetech?two partners?SK M&S and Patent Corporation Dodam?and three cooperating companies?Shinseong P&M, UFM Systems, and Kraft ID.


This event was planned to widely promote the convenience of 'OneBiz Plaza' and to gather customer feedback to further develop the currently established functions. Bank President Cho Byung-kyu stated, “OneBiz Plaza will become a win-win platform that greatly supports SMEs by expanding its scope not only to digital transformation of SMEs but also to various financial products, management support, and welfare services. To provide rapid liquidity support to SMEs, we have decided to expand the support scale of the ‘OneBiz Data Loan’ from the current 300 billion KRW to up to 3 trillion KRW.”


Meanwhile, on the same day, Woori Bank signed new partnership agreements with SK M&S and Patent Corporation Dodam to expand specialized services for SMEs, such as health checkup services and patent cost support. A Woori Bank official said, “Through this meeting, we plan to further develop win-win support based on ‘OneBiz Plaza’ and accelerate the business growth of client companies by expanding innovative financial products and various management support and welfare services.”
