The transportation countermeasures team will monitor major roads in the area for the safety of returning visitors and travelers, and implement special traffic measures such as immediate repair of potholes or damaged facilities.

During the holiday period, the city plans to open 19 affiliated parking lots free of charge, including the Jungang Public Parking Lot near Yongin Jungang Market, Geumhak Public Parking Lot, Cheoin District Office, and Jungang-dong Administrative Welfare Center, as well as 20 off-street and roadside parking lots.

The cleaning countermeasures team, responsible for collecting household waste, will collect all garbage on the first day of the holiday, the 14th, and the last day, the 18th. On the 16th, only food waste will be collected, and there will be no collection on Sunday the 15th and Chuseok day the 17th.

The water supply countermeasures team has prepared emergency water supply measures to prevent inconvenience from water outages or leaks during the holiday, and secured water trucks from two companies to prepare for emergency water supply situations in areas with high elevation where water supply is difficult.

The healthcare team will operate 24-hour emergency rooms centered on emergency medical institutions in the region to respond to emergency medical situations during the holiday, and will post information about open hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies on the city’s website to minimize medical service gaps.

Earlier, the price countermeasures team, which began operating on the 2nd ahead of the holiday, will continue to monitor the quality and price stability of 20 essential Chuseok holiday items until the 13th.

The advertising countermeasures team has established a system to respond to illegal advertisements by conducting regular patrols to remove illegal ads, and the fuel countermeasures team will manage LPG filling stations and others during the holiday to ensure stable fuel supply.

The environmental monitoring team has formed a special patrol unit to monitor factories and rivers, strengthening surveillance of companies discharging environmental pollutants.

Meanwhile, various complaints about daily inconveniences during the holiday can be reported by calling the Yongin City Civil Complaint Counseling Call Center. The call center operates from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and complaints outside these hours are automatically connected to the city hall duty office.

Lee Sang-il, Mayor of Yongin City, said, "We will operate a flawless emergency response system so that visitors and citizens visiting Yongin during the Chuseok holiday can spend their time safely and enjoyably without inconvenience," adding, "I hope all 1.1 million citizens of Yongin enjoy a bountiful and relaxing Hangawi."
