Chungnam Office of Education to Recruit 292 Public Kindergarten, Elementary, and Special Education Teachers Next Year

19 Kindergarteners, 250 Elementary Students, 23 Special School (Kindergarten/Elementary) Students

The Chungnam Office of Education has announced that it will recruit 292 new public kindergarten, elementary, and special education teachers for next year.

On the 11th, the Office of Education posted the implementation plan for the competitive examination to select candidates for next year's appointments on its website.

The number of recruits includes 19 kindergarten teachers, 250 elementary school teachers, and 23 special education (kindergarten and elementary) teachers, totaling 292, which is 22 fewer than last year. While the number of elementary school teachers increased by 8 compared to last year, the number of kindergarten and special education teachers decreased by 18 and 12, respectively.

Applicants must hold a teaching certificate in the relevant field or be scheduled to obtain one by February next year, and must have obtained at least Level 3 certification in the Korean History Proficiency Test administered by the National Institute of Korean History.

The final successful candidates will be announced on February 5 next year after passing the first and second rounds of examinations, which will begin in November.
