Donation of 30 Million Won to Hope Bridge Continuous Care Project
Positive Influence in Various Disasters... Total Donation of 120 Million Won
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (President Song Pil-ho) announced on the 11th that actor Im Si-wan donated 30 million won to be used for the 'Sustained Care Project' to help disaster-affected households recover their daily lives.
The Sustained Care Project supports those who continue to face difficulties such as economic hardships even after disasters like floods. Hope Bridge selects support areas based on the extent of disaster damage and finalizes the recipients through recommendations from local governments and on-site inspections. Selected households receive visits four times a year to provide groceries, medicines, and daily necessities.
Im Si-wan said, "Upon hearing that those who experienced disasters are still living difficult lives, I decided to donate to offer whatever help I can, though it may be insufficient," adding, "I will continue to strive for the recovery of neighbors affected by disasters."
This is not Im Si-wan's first act of kindness. Starting with donations to help neighbors affected by the 2019 Gangwon wildfires, he has supported victims of various disasters every year, including typhoons, wildfires, and the T?rkiye earthquake. To date, Im Si-wan's total donations amount to 120 million won.
Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, expressed, "We deeply thank and respect Im Si-wan for consistently participating in sharing based on his positive influence," and added, "Hope Bridge will do its utmost to ensure that Im Si-wan's intentions are fully conveyed to those in need."
