Additional purchase of 5.1 billion KRW in local specialties... Leading win-win management
Hanwha Group's major affiliates announced on the 11th that they will advance approximately 190 billion KRW in payments to partner companies ahead of Chuseok and hold sharing events for the holiday.
To ease the financial burden on partner companies, Hanwha Group's major affiliates have been making early payments during the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays. As demand for operating funds, such as raw material payments, temporarily increases before the holidays, the scheduled funds are disbursed early in cash to assist partner companies in managing their finances.
By affiliate, Hanwha Corporation will pay 15.1 billion KRW, Hanwha Solutions 14.1 billion KRW, Hanwha Aerospace 29.6 billion KRW, Hanwha Systems 23.2 billion KRW, and Hanwha Ocean 83.3 billion KRW, totaling 190 billion KRW, with payments made up to 59 days earlier than usual in cash.
They also support revitalizing the local economy. They will purchase local specialty products worth over 5.1 billion KRW to present as holiday gifts to in-house resident partner companies, service workers, and key customers. Ahead of the Chuseok holiday, approximately 5.5 billion KRW worth of Onnuri gift certificates will be purchased and distributed to employees as Chuseok encouragement bonuses to promote the consumption of domestic agricultural and marine products.
Sharing activities for local communities will also be conducted nationwide. Hanwha Group's major affiliates will deliver holiday support items to underprivileged groups such as basic livelihood security recipients through local community welfare centers and volunteer centers.
