On this day, Mayor Baek expressed gratitude and encouragement to the medical staff who are doing their best at the emergency medical sites, and visited medical personnel including Jang Jin, director of Pocheon Woori Hospital, as well as the staff at Dalbit Children's Hospital who are dedicated to pediatric care, to listen to the difficulties faced on site.
Mayor Baek said, “I sincerely thank the medical staff who are protecting citizens' lives at emergency medical sites despite difficult circumstances,” and added, “I hope you will continue to prioritize citizens' lives and do your utmost to minimize medical service gaps.” He also stated, “Pocheon City will continue to make efforts and cooperate to ensure that the emergency medical system operates smoothly.”

Meanwhile, Pocheon Woori Hospital was designated as a regional emergency medical institution in 2020 and is responsible for emergency patient care in northern Gyeonggi areas including Pocheon, Yangju, Dongducheon, Yeoncheon, and Cheorwon, as well as operating Dalbit Children's Hospital to provide pediatric care on weekends and public holidays.
