Discovery of Outstanding Domestic Technologies and Mutual Technology Sharing

Busan Port Authority (BPA) will open a corporate promotion booth at the 10th Korea Safety Industry Expo, jointly hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Busan Metropolitan City until the 12th, to showcase Busan Port's excellent achievements in disaster and safety management.

BPA participates in the Safety Industry Expo every year, providing an opportunity to experience field applications of new technologies for disaster and accident prevention.

This year, the expo will feature disaster prevention and safety management achievements based on past efforts and continue exhibitions under the theme of securing and investing in domestic technology.

In particular, this year, BPA will introduce domestic technology-holding companies through pre-arranged matching with promising small and medium-sized enterprises and provide an opportunity to share mutual technologies.

A BPA representative stated that they expect this opportunity to help discover outstanding domestic technologies, enhance the level of disaster and safety management at Busan Port, and contribute to the protection of domestic technologies.

Hong Seongjun, Director of Operations at BPA, said, "Busan Port Authority is creating a safe Busan Port with the help of port-related businesses and port workers," and added, "We will actively apply excellent domestic technologies and establish ourselves as a global advanced port that prioritizes safety above all."

The 10th Korea Safety Industry Expo will be held at BEXCO from the 10th to the 12th for three days.
