Seongdan Gong Seoul Regional Headquarters Conducts G-Valley Environmental Cleanup and Sharing Activities with Resident Companies

Practicing ESG with Over 300 Employees through Plogging

The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced on the 10th that it conducted the 'G Valley Ssedam Running Campaign' to commemorate the 60th anniversary of industrial complexes and to promote ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management among companies located in G Valley.

Held from the 2nd to the 6th, this campaign involved environmental protection activities (plogging) where participants walked or ran around the Seoul Digital National Industrial Complex and nearby areas while picking up litter. About 300 employees from the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation Seoul Regional Headquarters, the Korea Industrial Complex Managers Association Seoul, and companies located in the Seoul Digital National Industrial Complex participated.

The Seoul Regional Headquarters of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation is taking a commemorative photo after conducting the 'G Valley Ssedam Running Event' with executives and employees of companies located in G Valley on the 4th.

The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation Seoul Regional Headquarters raised a donation of 3 million KRW through the Ssedam Running campaign, and the Korea Industrial Complex Managers Association Seoul additionally donated 1 million KRW to the social contribution fund.

The collected donations were delivered on the same day to the Geumcheon Nuri Comprehensive Social Welfare Center and the Guro Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, each receiving 2 million KRW. Additionally, the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation Seoul Regional Headquarters provided 2 million KRW worth of Onnuri gift certificates to four local children’s centers in Geumcheon-gu and Guro-gu to help children in the community enjoy a prosperous Chuseok holiday.

Kim Seong-gi, head of the Seoul Regional Headquarters, said, "Through this Ssedam Running campaign, we created an opportunity for companies in G Valley to practice environmental protection and ESG management together," adding, "Going forward, the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation will continue various activities to foster an environment where the local community and industrial complexes grow together based on ESG management in partnership with G Valley companies."
