AET Program for University Students and Ausbildung for High School Students 진행
Mercedes-Benz Korea is conducting a vehicle maintenance expert training program for university and high school students.
On the 10th, Mercedes-Benz Korea announced that it held the inauguration ceremony for the 17th AET program for university students and the 8th 'Ausbildung' program for high school students on the 6th.
Mercedes-Benz Korea first launched the AET automotive mechanic training program in 2006. This batch of trainees was selected from graduates and prospective graduates of automotive-related departments at universities nationwide. They will complete and be evaluated on a total of 20 training courses to obtain the AET certification and the official system mechanic qualification recognized by the global Mercedes-Benz network, and will be employed by official Mercedes-Benz dealers in Korea.
Additionally, the 8th class of the German-style dual work-study talent development program 'Ausbildung,' first introduced by Mercedes-Benz Korea in 2017, consists of third-year students majoring in automotive or mechanical fields at specialized high schools. They will join official Mercedes-Benz dealers and complete three years of on-site practical work and formal university courses, earning an associate degree from partner domestic universities, Mercedes-Benz Korea maintenance mechanic certification, and a certificate from the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mercedes-Benz Korea has revamped the AET and Ausbildung programs to enable participating trainees to focus on developing their electric vehicle repair capabilities.
Kim Najung, Vice President of Network Development and Training Academy at Mercedes-Benz Korea, said, "We will actively support the 17th AET and 8th Ausbildung trainees to successfully complete their courses and grow into the best experts in the domestic service field beyond Mercedes-Benz in the future."
