The "Korea Safety Industry Expo" is the largest safety-specialized exhibition in the country, with participation from government agencies, local governments, public institutions, and domestic and international industry professionals. This year, it will cover topics such as industrial, disaster prevention, fire safety, traffic, security, social, daily life, and public safety.

At this expo, the Korea National Oil Corporation plans to introduce safety technologies designed to prevent marine pollution and major accidents that may occur during deep-sea drilling.

With significant attention focused on the "Daewang Gorae Project," which is developing the East Sea deep-sea oil and gas field, the corporation has chosen this theme to actively promote its efforts for public safety and environmental preservation.

Additionally, on the first day of the expo, the 10th, the corporation's deputy director led the "2024 Disaster Safety Campaign" at BEXCO. Employees distributed guidelines to participants and visitors on how to respond to natural disasters such as flooding and typhoons, as well as social disasters including road tunnel accidents and wildfires.

A representative from the Korea National Oil Corporation stated, "We conducted this campaign to raise public awareness about safety and disaster preparedness," and added, "We will continue to faithfully fulfill our role as a disaster management agency in carrying out oil development and stockpiling projects."
