Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Shares Chuseok Warmth Making Songpyeon with Residents

On the morning of the 10th, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, visited the site of the event "Beautiful Songpyeon Flowers Have Bloomed" held at Seongsan 1-dong Community Center.

The event, organized by the Mapo-gu Saemaeul Women's Association (President Eo Suk-hee), was prepared to share delicious food such as songpyeon with neighbors in celebration of Chuseok.

About 50 participants, including Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Baek Nam-hwan, Chairperson of the Mapo-gu Council, Saemaeul Women's Association presidents and executives, and marriage immigrant women, made songpyeon to share with neighbors, sharing the warm spirit of Chuseok.

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, "Thanks to your hearts that share the joy of the holiday and sincere food with neighbors, the residents of Mapo have become even happier," adding, "Mapo-gu will always do its best to create a prosperous Mapo like Chuseok."
