Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) conducted a 'Customized Integrated Violence Prevention Training' for senior executives on the 10th to prevent sexual violence and other issues, and to foster a healthy and respectful organizational culture.
This training was designed for senior managers at the CEO, division head, and department head levels or higher, and consisted of enhanced education on preventing the four major types of violence (sexual harassment, sexual violence, prostitution, and domestic violence) as well as a creative musical addressing the issue of workplace sexual harassment reporting.
GH operates revised guidelines for preventing sexual harassment and sexual violence, a Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence Grievance Review Committee, and online and offline grievance counseling channels to raise awareness of gender equality and establish a sound organizational culture.
Kim Seyong, President of GH, stated, "We will spare no effort to support employees in preventing sexual harassment, sexual violence, prostitution, and domestic violence to promote gender equality and a healthy organizational culture," and urged, "I ask senior managers to lead by example and take the lead in spreading a culture of mutual respect in the workplace."
