Happy Alliance-Domino's Pizza, Sharing Activities at Local Children's Centers for Chuseok

8 Community Child Centers in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul Support 100 Children by Making Pizza On-site via Food Truck

The social contribution network Happy Alliance recently announced on the 10th that it carried out a pizza sharing activity at a local children's center in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, together with Domino's Pizza.

This activity was planned to provide hearty snacks to children in welfare blind spots within the community in celebration of Chuseok, the major traditional Korean holiday.

On the day, Happy Alliance and Domino's Pizza delivered freshly made pizzas to a total of 100 children at eight centers, including the Geunnamu School Local Children's Center in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, using the 'Party Car' equipped with Domino's Pizza's pizza-making facilities.

On the 9th, representatives from Happy Alliance and Domino's Pizza made pizzas at the pizza-sharing food truck 'Domino's Pizza Partika' and sponsored eight centers, including the Geunnamu School Regional Children's Center in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, and took commemorative photos.

Party Car, Domino's Pizza's representative social contribution program, is a food truck that travels nationwide to donate pizzas where help is needed. Domino's Pizza joined Happy Alliance as a member company in 2016 and has been conducting pizza sharing activities together with Happy Alliance. In May, they also supported pizzas at a local children's center in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.

Jomin Young, head of Happy Alliance (Secretariat Happy Narae Co., Ltd.), said, "We hope this pizza sharing event becomes a joyful and happy memory for the children," and added, "Happy Alliance will continue to work closely with local governments, companies, and communities to deliver hope across the country."

Happy Narae, the operating secretariat of Happy Alliance, is a purchasing service company established by SK that uses all profits to create social value.
