Reacting Colorfully to a Friend's Daily Life
Instagram has introduced a new story comment feature.
Instagram Stories are a service that deletes posts after 24 hours, allowing users to share their daily lives without pressure. Instagram has launched the 'story comment' feature, which allows users to publicly leave comments on story posts so they can express themselves more vividly on their friends' daily updates.
To leave a comment on a friend's story, simply tap the newly added speech bubble icon at the bottom left of the story post. The written comments will be publicly displayed at the bottom of the story post for 24 hours. For public accounts, followers can leave comments on the user's story posts, while for private accounts, only mutual followers can comment. Users can select the range of people allowed to comment and block specific accounts through comment settings.
New text editing tools have also been updated to help users decorate story posts more creatively. Instagram has added new fonts exclusive to the platform and new text animation effects such as glitter added to the text. The new fonts and effects can be used not only in stories but also in Reels posts. Additionally, a feature to add text to feed posts has been introduced.
An Instagram representative said, "We have updated a large number of features that allow individuals to express their daily lives more uniquely and strengthen communication with friends," adding, "Instagram will continue to introduce features that help foster close connections among friends and creative self-expression."
