Baemin Launches Table Order Service 'Baemin Order'

Pre-registration Available from the 10th
Baemin Order Official Launch on the 25th

Baedal Minjok is launching a new table order service called ‘Baemin Order.’ Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, announced on the 10th that they are accepting applications for ‘Baemin Order’ from merchants registered on Baemin.

Table order is a service that allows customers visiting a restaurant to order menu items and receive other services directly through digital devices. Last October, Baemin experienced the management efficiency effects of table order through the ‘Digital Transformation Project.’ In this project, the monthly sales of five stores that applied digital transformation through customized consulting increased by an average of 21% compared to the previous month, and table turnover rates rose up to 67% within one month. Baemin expects even greater management efficiency and cost reduction effects in the dining industry through the new Baemin Order service.

The Baemin Order service will be linked with the existing Baedal Minjok app to provide more convenient services. Currently, Baemin gift certificates can only be used online, but through Baemin Order, they will also be usable at offline stores. Additionally, in the fourth quarter, Baemin points usage and accumulation features will be added. Baemin Order offers both a table order service using tablets installed at tables and a QR order service that allows customers to scan QR codes for contactless ordering. This enables some tables to operate with the tablet-based table order service, while tables with limited space or outdoor tables can use QR order simultaneously, thereby improving store efficiency.

The Baemin Order service also provides efficiency improvements in customer management (CRM) for restaurant owners to acquire new and regular customers. Store owners can issue store coupons to first-time or regular customers and check coupon performance through coupon statistics features. Baemin plans to start consultations for Baemin Order installation and officially launch the service from the 25th.

Jo Gye-gwon, Head of Strategic Planning at Woowa Brothers, said, “We launched Baemin Order to improve operational efficiency for restaurant owners and expand offline contact points with Baedal Minjok customers. We will continue to improve and expand the service so that Baedal Minjok customers can conveniently dine with Baemin both online and offline.”
