Asan City in Chungnam Province received the "Policy Award" at the 7th 2024 Youth-Friendly Legislative Awards.
Asan City in South Chungcheong Province announced on the 10th that it received the Policy Award at the 7th 2024 Youth-Friendly Constitutional Awards.
The 'Youth-Friendly Constitutional Awards', hosted by the Youth and Future, a corporation under the National Assembly Secretariat, is presented to local governments that have contributed to creating a youth-friendly environment through policies, legislation, communication, and support for young people.
Asan City received high praise for its job package policies tailored to the city's industrial structure, the youth connection platform 'Nawayu', the 'Pause Youth Support Project' for supporting reclusive youth entering society, and the creation of youth cultural streets near universities.
Mayor Park Kyunggui said, "Asan is a youth-friendly city with abundant jobs and housing preferred by young people, and a variety of things to enjoy," adding, "We will continue to actively support young people so they can move forward with the most advanced youth policies."
