KOSDAQ-listed company Hyper Corporation (formerly Medipron, CEO Lee Sang-seok) is launching a fitness education program for juniors. Aiming to provide customized life solution services that span all generations, Hyper Corporation announced on the 10th that it has established a joint venture (JV) called ‘HiGoldenFit’ with private gym GoldenFit (CEO Yoon Tae-sik).
Hyper Corporation offers various life solutions needed in the era of low birth rates and aging populations through its subsidiary, Hyper Life Care. Hyper Life Care operates the premium English kids club BlueTiger and PromomKinder, and through HiGoldenFit, it is expanding the scope of its programs by integrating fitness into existing English education. GoldenFit, which participated in the establishment of the joint venture, is a premium personal health training center for adults used by famous celebrities, with Director Yoon Tae-sik serving as CEO.
As its first program, HiGoldenFit will pilot the junior fitness education program ‘GoldenFit BlueTiger Junior Club,’ jointly developed with Hyper Corporation, throughout September. This education program was developed based on Hyper Life Care’s know-how in operating kids clubs and the fitness expertise of GoldenFit Director Yoon Tae-sik. It features professional training that collects and analyzes exercise data using pediatric InBody devices to help juniors with growth and body shape improvement, as well as boosting confidence and coordination.
Under the collaborative guidance of BlueTiger’s native English-speaking instructors and GoldenFit’s physical education teachers, the program will first be operated at BlueTiger Apgujeong Branch, with plans to expand to BlueTiger Suwon Time Villas Branch and BlueTiger Busan Grand Chosun Hotel Branch. Following this junior program, HiGoldenFit also plans to develop fitness programs targeting seniors.
Lee Sang-seok, CEO of Hyper Corporation, stated, “The launch of the joint venture HiGoldenFit is to explore new opportunities in one of the most important areas of life?physical health,” adding, “Through endless contemplation and action on services that can provide a better life, Hyper Corporation will become the only company that can offer life solutions for everyone.”
Yoon Tae-sik, CEO of HiGoldenFit, said, “Through HiGoldenFit, we are now able to showcase GoldenFit’s training capabilities not only to adults but also to juniors,” and added, “We will grow into a company that provides healthy lives to various generations.”
Meanwhile, Hyper Life Care successfully operated a pilot of a high-end senior membership club last June, providing customized physical and emotional care services such as fitness and brain development games for seniors.
