Opening Ceremony at Busan Cinema Center on the 10th at 10 a.m.
On the 10th, Busan City will open the "Deullak Nallak Children's Complex Cultural Space Specializing in Film and Video" at the Busan Cinema Center.
"Deullak Nallak," established on the first floor of BIFF Hill at the Busan Cinema Center, covers a total area of 470 square meters with a project cost of 2 billion KRW. Notably, it has been created as a children's complex cultural space that combines cinematic elements with both digital and analog content.
The interior spaces include: ▲"Net Playground" ▲"Montage" ▲"Media Table" ▲"Block Play" ▲"Animal Jumping Ball" ▲"Mirror Room" ▲"RGB Shadow Play" ▲"Praxinoscope" ▲"LED Studio" ▲"Pink Carpet" ▲"Learning Experience Area" ▲"Kids Library."
In particular, the Kids Library will be equipped with a variety of books, including children's books, AR books, and multicultural language books.
Additionally, following the city's plan to promote an "English-Friendly City," Deullak Nallak was selected for the "Let's Play with English at Deullak Nallak" program support project, and from the 12th, English education programs will also be offered.
To commemorate the opening of "Deullak Nallak," special events will be held from the 10th, including ▲Deullak Nallak Experience Photo Session (9.10.~9.14.) ▲Face Painting (9.10.~9.12.) ▲Play with Artificial Intelligence (AI) (9.10.~9.21.) ▲A lecture by children's book author Park Hyunsook of "Suspicious Cinema" (9.13.).
Deullak Nallak at the Busan Cinema Center will operate on a reservation basis four times a day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily (closed on Mondays), with a pilot operation throughout September and full-scale operation beginning in October.
The facility is open to preschool children (ages 5-7) and lower-grade elementary students (ages 8-10), and is free to use for children and families who register in advance.

The opening ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on the 10th on the first floor of BIFF Hill at the Busan Cinema Center.
Attendees will include Lee Joonseung, Deputy Mayor for Administrative Affairs; Song Hyunjun, Vice Chairman of the City Council's Administrative and Cultural Committee; Kim Jinhae, CEO of the Busan Cinema Center; Kang Seonggyu, Chairman of the Busan Film Commission; Park Kwangsoo, Chairman of the Busan International Film Festival; Lee Hyunjung, Executive Director of the Busan International Kids and Youth Film Festival; as well as local children, residents, and about 50 others to celebrate the opening.
Mayor Park Hyungjun stated, "Deullak Nallak at the Busan Cinema Center is a space where children can experience specialized content in the field of film, and it will be an enjoyable place not only for children in Busan but also for children throughout Korea. Our city aims to make Deullak Nallak not just a simple experience space, but a hub representing Korea's children's film and video culture. To achieve this, we will continue to invest, introduce global-level content and programs, and provide children with limitless possibilities."
