Saewool Headquarters and Namulju Power Development Council Conduct Environmental Cleanup along Hoya River

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters and the Namulju Power Development Council (Chairman Han Seongryul) carried out an environmental cleanup activity on September 9 at the Hwayagang Riverside Park area in Ulju County ahead of Chuseok, the biggest traditional holiday in Korea.

This environmental cleanup volunteer activity was conducted to provide a pleasant and clean environment for homecoming visitors and tourists visiting local attractions during the Chuseok holiday. About 60 participants, including employees of the Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters and members of the Namulju Power Development Council, took part in collecting household waste along the Hwayagang walking trail.

Soh Youseop, Head of the Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, "We are creating a pleasant residential environment every year through environmental cleanup activities in nearby areas," and added, "We will continue to strive to create a clean and beautiful local community by carrying out volunteer activities tailored to the region."
