Hanul Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power conducted a traditional market shopping event for Chuseok.
This event was organized to practice sharing with marginalized neighbors for Chuseok and to contribute to the revitalization of the local economy by purchasing local agricultural and marine products.
Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters packaged agricultural and marine products worth about 53 million KRW purchased at Bajige Market and delivered them to 400 people from vulnerable groups, such as basic livelihood security recipients and single-parent families, as well as 13 local social welfare facilities.
Jeon Byeongho, Director of the Uljin-gun Disabled Persons' Sheltered Workshop, who attended the event, said, "We have received many gifts from Hanul Headquarters this year, and I am deeply grateful for their generous support for welfare facilities and vulnerable groups every holiday without fail."
Lee Seyong, Head of Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters, stated, "Hanul Headquarters will continue to fulfill its social responsibilities as a leading local company and a partner coexisting with Uljin. I also hope that both traditional market merchants and neighbors in need will have a warm and bountiful Chuseok holiday."
