On the morning of the 9th, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited the Mangwon Yusuji Gateball Court where the 34th Mapo District Mayor's Gateball Tournament was held.
Hosted by Mapo District and the Mapo District Sports Council, and organized by the Mapo District Gateball Association, this tournament was held to promote friendship and harmony among gateball enthusiasts.
At the opening ceremony, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, presented awards to contributors to community sports and encouraged the more than 120 players participating in the tournament by saying, "I hope everyone demonstrates the skills they have honed and achieves great results," and added, "Mapo District will do its best to promote community sports."
