Kim Eo-jun Mentions Body and More on YouTube Broadcast
Jin Seong-jun, the Policy Committee Chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, and Cho Guk, the leader of the Cho Guk Innovation Party, are expected to cause a stir after remarks referring to Han Dong-hoon, the leader of the People Power Party, regarding his body and appearance were broadcasted.
On the 6th, Chairman Jin appeared on the YouTube channel 'Ddanji Broadcasting Station' hosted by broadcaster Kim Eo-jun. On that day, Kim asked Chairman Jin, "Is it true that Leader Han Dong-hoon is 180 cm tall?" and Chairman Jin replied, "I think he was wearing height-increasing shoes that day as well."

Previously, Chairman Jin was present at the inter-party leaders' meeting between Leader Han and Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party leader, on the 1st. At Chairman Jin's remarks that day, laughter erupted from the audience.
Chairman Jin continued, "From my perspective, (Leader Han's shoes) were quite flashy for a politician," adding, "They were brown shoes with two metal decorations. Wearing even one is quite bold, but it seemed like he was trying to show off unnecessarily. The shoes were really flashy."
He also commented on Leader Han's appearance. He said, "It was the first time I shook hands and saw his face, and I felt like I was looking at an alien," claiming, "His facial features and expression were not relaxed or natural, and it seemed like he was heavily made up, which made me feel awkward and somewhat creepy." Kim responded by saying, "That's a bit artificial," seemingly agreeing, while continuing to burst into laughter.
Leader Cho also appeared on the broadcast that day. Kim asked Leader Cho, "Did you meet Leader Han in person on the opening day?" and mentioned, "Leader Han is 180 cm tall." Previously, Leader Cho also visited Speaker Woo Won-shik along with Leader Han and others at the opening ceremony of the 22nd National Assembly on the 2nd.
Leader Cho said, "I don't want to give a detailed comment, but my impression is that the person is somewhat thin," adding, "I am 181 cm tall, and they say Leader Han is the same height. Since they keep saying he is 180, I am just clarifying." The broadcast also showed a photo taken during the visit to Speaker Woo on the 2nd with Lee, Han, and Cho. Seeing this, Leader Cho added, "When the photo is shown, the difference is definitely noticeable."
