Namseoul University Dominates 41st President's Cup University and Business Archery Competition

Park Sangmin Takes First Place in Individual and Team Compound Events

The Archery Team of Namseoul University emerged as a new powerhouse by winning first place in both the individual overall and team events in the university league at the 41st President's Cup University and Corporate Archery Competition, held in celebration of the Olympic victory.

The Namseoul University archery team won first place in both the individual all-around and team events at the 41st President's Cup University and Business Archery Competition, held in celebration of their Olympic victory.

At this event, athlete Park Sangmin (Department of Sports Business) achieved first place in the compound individual event and second place in the double round 50m.

Competing in the team event as well, Park, together with Seo Junghwan (Department of Human Care) and Cho Jungmin (Department of Human Care), demonstrated perfect teamwork to secure first place in the team event.

Park Sangmin said, "Since August, I have been preparing for the competition, training every day for 14 hours at the university archery range and shooting more than 300 to 400 arrows daily. During the match, instead of being greedy, I focused calmly at my own pace, which I believe helped me achieve first place."
