Assault Incident at Pyeongsan Bookstore Where Moon Was Present ... "Asked to Leave After Closing" Pyeongsan Bookstore.

On the afternoon of the 8th, when Lee Jaemyung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, visited the residence of former President Moon Jaein in Yangsan, Gyeongnam, an assault incident occurred at Pyeongsan Bookstore, which is operated by the former president.


According to the Yangsan Police Station on the 9th, at around 6:50 p.m. on the 8th, a man in his 20s, identified as A, violently assaulted a female bookstore employee in her 40s, identified as B.


A is accused of assaulting B by punching and kicking her after she asked him to leave, saying, "The store is closed."


It is reported that during the incident, A also demanded to meet former President Moon Jaein.


Pyeongsan Bookstore's business hours end at 6 p.m., and it was found that A entered after closing time when the door had not yet been locked.


Police, responding to a report from a nearby resident who heard B's screams, arrested A at the scene.


The police are currently investigating A to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
