Yeosu-si and Yeocheon NCC Sign Agreement
26 Companies Participate... Improving Local Talent Employment Rate
Jeonnam Yeosu City (Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong) signed an agreement with Yeocheon NCC Co., Ltd. on the afternoon of the 6th in the mayor's office for the 'Yeosu Industrial Complex Companies Priority Hiring of Local Residents' initiative.
The 'Yeosu Industrial Complex Companies Priority Hiring of Local Residents' is a policy promoted by Yeosu City to increase the employment rate of local talent in industrial complex companies and contribute to population growth. With this agreement, the number of participating companies has expanded to a total of 26.

According to the agreement, Yeocheon NCC Co., Ltd. will establish a reasonable system for prioritizing the hiring of local residents in new recruitment and actively reflect this in their hiring process.
In response, Yeosu City plans to focus on creating a 'Yeosu City favorable for companies' by promoting improvement and maintenance projects for infrastructure such as roads, rivers, and transportation facilities within the industrial complex.
Jo Byeong-man, Executive Officer in charge of manufacturing at Yeocheon NCC Co., Ltd., stated, “Our company has grown together with Yeosu City, and we consider it meaningful to participate in this agreement for regional development. We will actively promote the contents of the agreement to coexist with the local community.”
Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong of Yeosu City said, “Despite the difficult industrial complex economy, we sincerely thank you for your efforts in hiring young talent. We hope that both organizations will cooperate not only in youth employment but also in various fields for mutual growth.”
