The management and labor union of the Changwon Facilities Management Corporation in Gyeongnam delivered a donation of 4 million won to help merchants affected by the fire at the Masan Fruit and Vegetable Market on the 3rd.
On the 9th, Kim Jonghae, Chairman of the Corporation, Lee Sungwoo, Union Leader, and other executives and employees visited the Masan Fish Market Merchants' Association, where they met with Cheon Taemun, President of the Association, to deliver the donation and offer their condolences.
The donation was raised through the voluntary participation of the corporation's executives and employees.
Chairman Kim said, "I understand that the merchants are greatly troubled by the fire that occurred just before Chuseok, our traditional holiday," and added, "I hope you can overcome this difficult situation and return to your daily lives as soon as possible."
Meanwhile, the corporation has been fulfilling its social responsibility as a public enterprise, including delivering donations and providing on-site support for wildfire victims in Donghae, Gangwon Province in 2022, and supporting flood recovery efforts in Mungyeong last year.
