The 7th Miryang Mayor's Cup National Open Table Tennis Tournament Successfully Concludes

Over 1,000 Table Tennis Club Members from 112 Teams Nationwide Gather for Cheers and Unity

Miryang City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 9th that the 7th Miryang Mayor's National Open Table Tennis Tournament, held at the Miryang Badminton Stadium from the 7th to the 8th, concluded successfully.

This tournament, hosted and organized by the Miryang Table Tennis Association, became a festival of competition and unity through sports, with around 1,000 table tennis enthusiasts from 112 teams nationwide participating.

Mayor Ahn Byunggu said, "I welcome all table tennis families who visited Miryang, and I am pleased to hold this tournament amid the enthusiastic support of the participants. Going forward, Miryang City will actively attract sports-for-all events to build an image as a sports-friendly city and help vitalize the local economy."

Meanwhile, major sporting events are scheduled to be held consecutively in Miryang, including the 'Sunshine Miryang National Amateur Baseball Championship' (September 22 ~ October 6), the 'Korea Elementary Badminton Federation President's Cup National Student Championship' (October 24 ~ October 30), and the 'Miryang Yonex International Badminton Tournament' (November 25 ~ December 1).
