Yangsan Youth Harmony Festival, 'This Year, For Long' Successfully Concludes 2024 Yangsan City Youth Harmony Festival.

This event was planned and operated by "Naunuri," the youth festival planning team affiliated with the Yangsan Youth Center, from the perspective of young people themselves. On the day of the event, about 450 visitors attended. With generous support from the Yangsan City Educational Development Council, the festival was even more enriched, allowing youths to fully enjoy the festivities.

The theme of this year’s event, "This Year, For a Long Time," signifies finding oneself this year and creating a youth festival where young people can linger for a long time. In line with this theme, various club performances allowed youths to focus on the moments they love, and a range of side events made them want to stay even longer.

The youth club stage began with a demonstration by the Bitnari Taekwondo Demonstration Team, followed by a total of 17 teams showcasing performances in genres such as sign language, band, and dance. The passion-filled stage captivated both the performers and the audience alike.

Side events included making Dalgona, bouncy balls, bead bracelets, four-leaf clover keyrings, personalized fans, fragrance blending, personal color diagnosis, cocktail making, tarot reading, as well as photo booths and a picnic mat zone, providing a diverse range of activities.

To help cool off the youths attending in the hot weather, the Yangsan City Educational Development Council provided refreshing drinks and Ppeongseukeurim, while the Yangsan Youth Counseling and Welfare Center operated a popcorn booth. The Gyeongnam Youth Counseling and Welfare Center ran a "Youth Mind Health Keeper" bus, offering both physical and mental relaxation to the participants.

One youth who participated in preparing for the festival and served as an MC said, "I was very nervous, but this opportunity helped me gain stage experience and take a step closer to my dream." Another youth shared, "I liked that the event was held at Hwangsan Park because the venue was spacious, and there were so many fun things to do that time flew by. I hope there will be more festivals like this in the future, providing plenty of activities for us."

A Yangsan City official stated, "This Harmony Square, planned and operated by youths themselves, held special meaning for them. Yangsan City and the Yangsan Youth Center will continue to prepare various programs so that even more young people can participate as the main agents."
