Open Participation for All Citizens: Ideas for Yeongju Development
Yeongju City will hold the "2024 Yeongju City Idea Proposal Contest" from the 9th to the 27th to incorporate a wide range of citizen opinions into its policies.
This contest is open to anyone interested in the development of Yeongju City. Participation is available through the National Sinmungo, the Yeongju City Hall website, email, or by visiting the Planning and Budget Office or local administrative welfare centers.
The contest covers all fields, including ▲population and low birth rate ▲tourism and travel ▲jobs and economy ▲health and welfare ▲agriculture and livestock ▲tradition, culture, and arts ▲budget-saving measures ▲municipal innovation. In particular, participants are encouraged to propose creative improvement ideas that will help Yeongju leap forward with the dignity of a Seonbi.
The submitted ideas will be evaluated based on creativity, efficiency, sustainability, and effort. Awards include Grand Prize (700,000 KRW), Excellence Prize (500,000 KRW), Encouragement Prize (300,000 KRW), and Simple Adoption (100,000 KRW). The results will be announced in November.
