Everland Hosts Pro Baseball Cheers, Folk Experience, and Barbecue Party for Chuseok

Everland is hosting a special Chuseok Hangawi event. It offers a variety of special content, including sports events supporting professional baseball teams, traditional folk game experiences, and a generous barbecue party.

Everland, operated by Samsung C&T Resort Division, announced on the 9th that it will hold a special Hangawi event during the Chuseok holiday from the 14th to the 18th.

Visitors can experience professional baseball in a new way at Everland during the Chuseok holiday. This year, Everland introduced the lesser panda character 'Resi,' who visited baseball stadiums of Samsung Lions (Daegu), NC Dinos (Changwon), and KT Wiz (Suwon) to hold events with customers and showcase collaboration merchandise.

Ahead of Chuseok, Everland collaborated with the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) to produce eight limited-edition photo cards featuring the Resi character dressed in each team's uniform, wishing good luck. During the holiday, 7,000 photo cards will be randomly given out daily on a first-come, first-served basis to visitors at Everland.

If visitors come to Everland wearing sports uniforms such as baseball, basketball, or soccer, they can participate in a bonus event where they receive an additional random photo card from on-site staff wearing Resi merchandise.

The 'Choi Kang Resi' limited-edition goods, including dolls, keyrings, and badges, which sold out immediately after their release in collaboration with KBO this summer, will be available again at Everland's merchandise stores starting from the 13th.

Packages consisting of collaboration goods such as Choi Kang Resi keyrings and photo cards along with Everland admission tickets can be purchased online in advance.

At Carnival Plaza, there will be photo sessions with the Resi character dressed in professional baseball uniforms during the holiday period. Online customer participation events will be held through the Everland mobile application and Resi & Friends Instagram, offering collaboration goods and wallpapers as gifts.

There will also be traditional holiday programs where children can experience Korean customs. During the holiday, a folk game experience zone featuring Yutnori, Tuho, and Jegichagi will be set up at Carnival Plaza. Everland’s representative characters, Lenny and Lara, will appear wearing hanbok and hold hanbok character photo sessions with visitors.

At the Royal Jubilee Carousel, also known as the merry-go-round, a new performance service themed 'Madangnori' (yard play) will be offered during the holiday. Staff who usually wear European medieval noble costumes will transform into traditional Korean roles such as madangsoe (yard servant) and hanbok wearers, wearing instruments like kkwaenggwari (small gong) and fans, and guide visitors with entertaining remarks. Visitors who make a wish to the staff will receive mini yakgwa (traditional Korean sweets) as a snack. Every day, the 100th, 200th, 300th, and so on visitors will receive a snack set as a gift.

At Holland Village, a special food festival will be held from the 13th until the 9th of next month. Visitors can enjoy hearty barbecue menus such as wine barrel pork belly, pork ribs, and beef ribs, taste various types of Belgian craft beer, and participate in beer tasting classes.

Everland is holding an autumn festival. It offers various attractions such as an autumn-themed garden, the unique experience zone Blood City, and animal explorations. The Four Seasons Garden, Everland’s representative garden, has been transformed into the 'Autumn Festa Garden' themed with Resi & Friends characters. The Autumn Festa Garden features harvested crops such as rice, millet, and sorghum, creating a rich autumn field and farmland scenery. A purple-hued autumn chrysanthemum aster field unfolds.

Blood City is built on an overwhelming scale reminiscent of a movie set. Visitors can experience popular Netflix series like 'All of Us Are Dead' and 'Stranger Things' through live performances, maze escapes, zombie makeup, and various immersive content.

Special exploration programs such as the Night Safari Tram and Good Morning Lost Valley allow visitors to observe animals up close and vividly.
