Asan City in Chungnam will open its paid public parking lots for free during the upcoming Chuseok holiday.

The public parking lots to be opened for free include 13 locations with a total of 1,153 spaces, such as Baebang-eup Jangjaeri No. 1 and 4 public parking lots, and Baebang-eup Gongsuri No. 2 and 3 public parking lots, from the 13th until the end of the holiday on the 18th.

The No. 1 to 3 public parking lots located under Onyangoncheon Station will be operated for free only from the 15th to the 18th, taking into account the Onyangoncheon Station Pungmul 5-Day Market schedule.

A city official stated, "We will do our best to ensure the smooth operation of the parking lots so that there is no inconvenience for users during the free period," and added, "We expect this will greatly help improve transportation convenience for holiday travelers and revitalize the local economy."
