Lotte Mart Bottle Bunker Hosts Wine Tasting Event with Wine Expert Patrick Farrell

Tasting Event for Two Days Starting from the 27th
First-Come, First-Served Participation Applications Accepted on SNS

Lotte Mart announced on the 9th that its liquor specialty store Bottle Bunker will host a tasting event featuring world-renowned wine expert Patrick Farrell.

Patrick Farrell is a wine expert with 26 years of experience who earned the 'Master of Wine' (MW) qualification in 1998. The Master of Wine is considered one of the highest certifications in the wine industry alongside the 'Master Sommelier,' with only about 400 professionals active worldwide.

The wine tasting event "Wine Heart Day" with Patrick Farrell will be held on the 27th and 28th. Starting from the 10th, applications for participation will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through Bottle Bunker's official social media (SNS) accounts.

The tasting on the 27th will be a small-scale event with about 20 participants at Bottle Bunker Jamsil branch. On the 28th, a large-scale tasting event will be held at the wine bar "Mood Seoul," famous for its Han River view, where about 100 people can enjoy over 120 types of wine. For customers who cannot attend the tasting, Lotte Mart plans to operate a "Patrick MW's Curation Zone" at Bottle Bunker stores starting next month.

Park Hye-jin, marketing manager of Lotte Mart Bottle Bunker, said, "This is a special opportunity to communicate directly with Patrick Farrell, and we hope it will be a time to share not only professional knowledge about wine but also the genuine passion and enjoyment of wine, the 'Wine Heart.'"
