"Sleep, Brain Health, and Digital Tech"
Asia Economy will host the '2024 Good Brain Conference' on the 11th at The Plaza Hotel in Sogong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, inviting domestic and international brain experts and authorities in the field of sleep science.
Started in 2022, the Good Brain Conference is a platform to review the current and future medical and scientific techniques for maintaining brain health and treating brain diseases, as well as to suggest policy directions to support these efforts. This year, the conference will focus on the importance of sleep for maintaining healthy brain function in modern people and explore 'how to create a healthy life through healthy sleep.' It will also introduce the advancements in sleep science and sleep tech being researched and developed by our medical community and meditech companies.
The event will begin with a keynote speech by Kim Seok-joo, Chairman of the Korean Society of Sleep Medicine and Professor of Psychiatry at Samsung Seoul Hospital, followed by lectures from Lee Yoo-jin, Director of the Sleep Medicine Center at Seoul National University Hospital; Lee Dong-heon, CEO of A-Sleep; Lee Seul-gi, CEO of D&D Pharmatech; and Kim Kyung-il, Professor of Psychology at Ajou University. Additionally, panel discussions will feature Kang Jae-heon, President of the Korean Digital Therapeutics Society; Song Jae-jun, CEO of NewLive; Kang Sung-ji, CEO of Welt; Kim Hang-rae, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Rowan; and Choi Jong-min, Executive Director at Samsung Electronics, sharing insights on correcting poor sleep habits and the development status and potential of digital devices that restore brain health.
