"K-Security, Space, and Marine Future Leaders Talent Acquisition"
Hanwha Group's three defense subsidiaries, Hanwha Aerospace, Hanwha Ocean and Hanwha Systems, announced on the 8th that they will be recruiting new college graduate employees in the second half of the year. The total number of recruits across the three defense companies is approximately 600.
First, Hanwha Aerospace plans to hire new employees in job fields such as research and development (R&D), manufacturing/production technology, quality, purchasing, business management, finance, and management support. In particular, focusing on ongoing technology development projects such as independent aircraft engine development and next-generation launch vehicle joint development, more than 55% of the total hires will be selected for the R&D (research and development) positions as a proactive talent acquisition measure.
Hanwha Aerospace will visit 19 university campuses nationwide to hold recruitment briefings with HR personnel and current employees from each job field, and is also preparing an 'Aero Space Tour' event at Hanwha Aerospace's Seoul headquarters where applicants can directly talk with current employees by prior registration. Participation in the event can be applied for on a separate website.
Hanwha Ocean will also conduct aggressive new hiring to lead technology in the shipbuilding sector, expand overseas exports, and grow its global defense business including MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul). They plan to recruit key talents across all job categories from ▲R&D to ▲sales ▲design ▲business management ▲production management for future defense technology development.
To this end, they will visit 16 university campuses nationwide by the 24th of this month to provide recruitment counseling, and especially operate a separate 'Global Challenger' track to secure global talent for overseas business expansion. Eligible candidates include graduates from English-speaking overseas universities, overseas Korean special admission students at domestic universities, former military interpreters, and others with English proficiency and cross-cultural adaptability.
Hanwha Systems is currently recruiting in defense sectors such as hardware (HW), software (SW), and optics, as well as ICT sectors including service development and operation, ERP development and operation, infrastructure construction and operation, and accounting. Selected candidates will be assigned to major departments such as ▲radar ▲satellite ▲marine systems ▲system integration (SI) ▲IT solutions after joining.
Hanwha Systems will also hold an online recruitment briefing via YouTube Live. The live broadcast will take place on September 23rd at 7 PM, providing various information related to recruitment. Attendance at the online briefing requires prior registration.
Leading K-defense and South Korea's future space, aviation, and marine industries, Hanwha Aerospace, Hanwha Ocean, and Hanwha Systems aim to secure global core talents through this new recruitment and further strengthen their technological capabilities. Applications for recruitment are open from the 2nd to the 27th of this month on Hanwha Group's official recruitment portal, 'Hanwha In.' Eligible applicants include domestic and international 4-year university bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree candidates or graduates, with detailed information varying by each company's recruitment field.
