Hyundai Engineering announced on the 8th that it has exclusively secured the contract for the 'Sadang 5 Housing Reconstruction Maintenance Project' in Seoul.
The project involves reconstructing the aging single-family houses in the 303 area of Sadang-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, into 10 buildings ranging from 4 basement floors to 12 above-ground floors, comprising 511 apartment units, with a project value of approximately 234.3 billion KRW.
Hyundai Engineering was selected as the final contractor at the regular general meeting held the day before to choose the construction company.
With this, Hyundai Engineering has consecutively secured exclusive contracts for major urban maintenance projects in Seoul, following the 'Seogwang Apartment Remodeling Project' in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 11th of last month.
A Hyundai Engineering official stated, "This will serve as a foundation for additional orders in key locations within Seoul and the metropolitan area," adding, "We will strive to provide an optimal residential environment that satisfies all residents."
