Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 8th that the 2025 Ioniq 6 was selected as the '2025 Best Electric Vehicle' by the leading U.S. automotive media outlet, Kelley Blue Book.
With this, the Ioniq 6 has been named the 'Best Electric Vehicle' by the same media for three consecutive years from 2023 through this year.
Kelley Blue Book selects the best electric vehicle after hundreds of hours of driving evaluations on key categories such as driving performance, interior and exterior, major convenience features, driving range, charging performance, and safety.
Regarding the 2025 Ioniq 6, Kelley Blue Book praised, "The driving range of up to 361 miles (581 km) and a charging time of only 18 minutes demonstrate the pinnacle of current battery technology."
They also described it as a "strong rival to the Tesla Model 3" and "a very efficient yet incredibly stylish electric vehicle."
Kelley Blue Book is one of the most trusted evaluation media among car buyers in the United States. It is known for comprehensively assessing not only vehicle performance but also various vehicle-related costs for hundreds of new cars each year to select the best cars in each category.
The Ioniq 6 is the second model of Hyundai Motor Company's Ioniq brand and was awarded 'World Car of the Year' at the 2023 World Car Awards.
Last November, it also ranked first in the electric vehicle driving range per charging time evaluation announced by the U.S. automotive website 'Edmunds.'
