Various Gifts for VOD Purchase Customers
Up to 50% Discount Promotion Underway
LG Uplus is conducting a promotion during the Chuseok holiday to ensure customers have an enjoyable time watching content on U+tv and U+Mobiletv. Additionally, a special exhibition will be held on the digital commerce platform 'U+Kok' for customers preparing Chuseok gifts.
First, LG Uplus offers IPTV service U+tv customers the latest movies such as Pilot, Desperate Pursuit, Twisters, Jurassic Cops: The Movie, and Despicable Me 4 as VOD, and provides various gifts to customers who purchase VOD.
In particular, customers who purchase the movie Pilot VOD during the Chuseok holiday have a chance to win travel vouchers worth 1 million KRW (5 winners) and VOD discount coupons worth 5,000 KRW (2,000 winners) through a lottery. Also, all customers who purchase the Pilot VOD will receive a 1-month free coupon for 'U+Play (15,400 KRW)', which allows viewing of over 70,000 domestic and international movies and series on U+tv.
Along with this, LG Uplus will provide 1,000 KRW worth of VOD usage vouchers by lottery to 2,024 customers who purchase at least one latest paid movie VOD during the holiday, and run a promotion offering up to 50% discount on VOD titles such as Exhumation, Alien Part 2, and Kung Fu Panda 4.
Any U+tv customer can watch about 700 movies including Hunt, Negotiation, and John Wick, as well as over 14,000 broadcast contents, overseas dramas, and more than 4,000 animation titles for free during the holiday. Furthermore, about 450 cultural contents such as the Vermeer Amsterdam National Museum Special Exhibition, live performances of Antonio Pappano and the London Symphony Orchestra, classical concerts, dance, ballet, art, and exhibitions are also available for viewing.
On U+Mobiletv, from the 13th to the 22nd, a 'Time Flies Popular Movie Event' will be held to make the Chuseok return trip more enjoyable. Customers who purchase the latest movies such as Crime City 4, Inside Out 2, Exhumation, Pilot, and Twisters will receive coupons worth up to 3,000 KRW.
An appreciation review event linked to the original content 'Boss Rise', produced in-house, will also be held. Customers who watch 'Boss Rise', SM Entertainment’s idol group RISE’s first travel reality program, and leave a review on the fan-based community platform 'Diggus' by the 3rd of next month will be entered into a lottery to win posters signed by RISE members. There will be 25 winners, and the results can be checked on the 10th of next month.
A special promotion is also underway on U+Kok. Customers visiting U+Kok by the 19th will receive daily first-come, first-served discount coupons of 10% (10 people), 7% (100 people), and 5% (1,000 people).
