North Korea has sent trash balloons for four consecutive days.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff announced on the 7th, "North Korea is once again launching suspected trash balloons toward the South," adding, "There is a possibility they may move toward the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas." North Korea had not launched balloons for nearly a month since the 10th of last month but has been sending balloons carrying trash toward the South for four consecutive days starting from the 4th.

It is speculated that the supply of balloon materials and trash necessary for balloon launches had been limited due to large-scale flood recovery efforts but has now been somewhat resolved.
