North Korea has sent trash balloons southward for three consecutive days.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff stated on the 6th, "North Korea is once again releasing suspected trash balloons toward the South," adding, "Depending on changes in wind direction, they may move toward the northern Gyeonggi region."
The Joint Chiefs urged caution regarding falling payloads and requested that people avoid touching any fallen balloons and report them to military units or the police.
North Korea has sent balloons southward four times over three consecutive days, including the night of the 4th, the morning of the 5th, and the afternoon of the 5th. Since the end of May this year, North Korea has released balloons 15 times.
