Sisa Journal Presidential Suitability Ratings from August 29 to 31
Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon received 35% support, the same as People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon, in a hypothetical one-on-one presidential race against Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea. This has led to speculation that there could be two contenders against Lee Jae-myung within the ruling party.
According to a survey conducted by Sisa Journal from August 29 to 31 through the Korea Opinion & Reputation Research Institute (KOPPA) targeting 2,011 people aged 18 and over nationwide, in a head-to-head matchup between Lee Jae-myung and Mayor Oh Se-hoon, Lee received 54% support while Oh garnered 35%. In this two-person race, 9% responded "none," and 1% said "don't know."

In a similar head-to-head scenario between Lee Jae-myung and Han Dong-hoon, Lee received 54% support, while Han got 35%. "None" accounted for 9%, and "don't know" was 1%.
Notably, Mayor Oh (44%) led Lee (42%) by 2 percentage points (p) in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk (TK) region. Han (40%) trailed Lee (44%) by 4 percentage points in the TK region. This has sparked speculation that the Lee Jae-myung-Han Dong-hoon race within the ruling and opposition parties could change.
In the matchup between Lee and former Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Won Hee-ryong, Lee received 57%, while Won recorded 29%. In the race between Lee and People Power Party lawmaker Ahn Cheol-soo, Lee had 56%, and Ahn had 27%.
Meanwhile, this survey utilized ARS polling through wireless RDD. The margin of error is ±2.2 percentage points at a 95% confidence level. The response rate was 2.1%. For more details, please refer to the Central Election Survey Deliberation Commission website.
