For Apartment Complex Managers ... Understanding Fire Causes and Actions during Fire

On the 6th, an 'Electric Vehicle Fire Response Training' for representatives of apartment residents and fire safety managers was held at the multipurpose auditorium on the 2nd floor of Dongdaemun-gu Office.

This training is part of a joint drill following the 'Electric Vehicle Fire Response Business Agreement' signed on the 26th of last month between the district office, Dongdaemun Fire Station, and Dongdaemun Police Station.

Firefighters educated housing managers on ▲electric vehicle battery composition ▲causes of fire ▲actions to take during an electric vehicle fire for quick and effective initial response.

In the latter part of the training, participants had the opportunity to indirectly experience the dangers of electric vehicle fires through a 'model electric vehicle fire demonstration.'

The district plans to conduct joint inspections of fire facilities in underground parking lots of apartment complexes starting mid-September, in cooperation with Dongdaemun-gu Office, Dongdaemun Fire Station, and Korea Electrical Safety Corporation.
